Catastrophic Bleeds Training

This 3-hour course will provide learners with guidance on catastrophic bleeding control, including dealing with the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering first aid in a high-risk working environment.

This 3-hour training course expands on the basic awareness taught on both Emergency First Aid and First Aid at Work courses and is ideal for any level of First Aiders including event cover providers.

The training includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all-around understanding of trauma care and to stop external haemorrhage with pressure dressings, Tourniquets & Celox haemostatic products.

We have various Tourniquets for you to practice with, and will give a demonstration of both Celox and pressure dressings.
