Welcome to our fully comprehensive Emergency First Aid at Work Course.
One-day practical or blended learning option
Our course is ideally suited to lower-risk workplaces where a risk assessment has identified the need for staff to possess appropriate first-aid skills and knowledge. Our 6-hour course is presented either at our training centres or for group bookings at your workplace. The course is delivered by our specialist First Aid at Work trainers, using the latest training techniques to maximise both knowledge and confidence. This course covers CPR and the effective use of an AED/Defib.

Course Structure

Blended Learning: The First Aid at Work course combines 6 hours of interactive online pre-learning with 12 hours of practical, hands-on training. This flexible approach will allow you and your team to complete the online modules at your own pace prior to attending the face-to-face session.

Certification: One you have successfully completed the Emergency First Aid at Work Course you will receive a certificate which is valid for three years. The course and the certification meets the HSE guidance of 2025.

Course details
Costs:
Starting from just £45 per person when booking for a group of 12 learners or £60 per person for groups of 6 or more.
Individual places start at £72 per person
Course Duration:
Class room based: 6hours of classroom practical training and learning. Available at your place of work or various locations across the UK.
Blended Course: 6 hours of blended learning. Pre-at-home eLearning and 4 hours of practical training
Location: Available at your place of work or various locations across the UK. This course is delivered as blended learning. course. Therefore, all learners must complete pre-at-home eLearning prior to attending the practical training day.
Certificates:
We aim to provide e-copy certifications within 48 hours of course completion. Please note that our e-certificates are valid certifications all governing bodies and accreditation centres accept.

Where can I do the training?
This course is available at our open training venues across London and the South East or as a private course at your place of work.
We also deliver all of our courses at your place of work anywhere in the UK.
Essential information:
Clothing: Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting trousers, leggings, or jeans. We advise against wearing a skirt or anything short that may make you uncomfortable during practical assessments.
Under 16 years: As work-based training, we do not permit persons under 16 years into the training room.
Fit for Training: As work-based training, you will be assessed in all areas of content to meet the certification requirements. The CPR/AED assessment requires learners to kneel on the floor next to the casualty. Please ensure that you can physically fulfil these practical requirements.
ID: Please bring a photo ID for verification.
Lunch: We suggest that all learners arrive with lunch and refreshments for the day. We are unable to guarantee there will be facilities to purchase refreshments at the venue.
Parking: It is your responsibility to check any parking restrictions at the venue before leaving their car.
Timings: You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the course starts. Learners who do not arrive on time may be turned away from the training day and must pay in full to re-book.
